My family and I recently trekked to Everest Base Camp (EBC) with Imperial Nepal Trek (INT) and this company really did so much for us to make our experience enjoyable and unforgettable.
They had a high level of professionalism and were well-organised since our touch down in Kathmandu. At the airport we were met by who was to be out guide to EBC and back (friendly and patient Sujan Khanal), and INT organised a taxi straight to our hotel (hotel also organised by INT). The following day we were met by the organiser (Paras Khanal) of the feel in person, who gave us a run down of itinerary and answered our many questions so patiently!
On that note, Paras was very accomodating with creating an itinerary specifically tailored to our needs - this was a huge plus, as we didn't have the time to do the trek they initially recommended. paras was very willing to tailor a trek to suit some of our limitations.
INT also made some of those admin and difficult parts of travelling in a new city MUCH easier - they organised all taxi transfers around the City, as we needed, the organised the down jackets, down sleeping bags and duffel bags that would be incredibly necessarily in the colder parts of the trek! They also facilitated some sight-seeing around Kathmandu and a provided 2 really enjoyable dinners - a welcome dinner on arrival to Kathmandu and farewell dinner after our trek.
Trekking with our guide and 2 porters was a great experienxe in the mountains - we were looked after, entertained, informed and a bit spoilt at times (that extra cup of coffee or opportunity to have a quick and hot shower when you thought it wasn't possible!). This really made the (at times difficult) trek that much more enjoyable. We are very grateful to Sujan our guide and our 2 porters for all the effort they put in on this trek. They are incredibly tough and resilient to the Himalayan cold!
It was a relief throughout the trek not to have to fuss with payment for every meal and every room etc - these expenses were all included in the total cost we paid INT - and it was well worth it! Very reasonable price and we more than got our money's worth. Definitely contact Paras and INT for quotes.
The trekl itself is amazing but I figure you probably know that already and more likely, you're trying to decide which trekking company to choose. I would highly recommend Imperial Nepal Treks!

Excellent Experience Dec 2023 • Family
In December 2023, we embarked on the EBC trek, organized by Imperial Nepal Trek & Expedition. This journey was not just a trek but an experience of a lifetime, made exceptional by the professionalism and warmth of our guide Dinesh and our porter Darphon. Dinesh demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about the region, its culture, and the intricacies of the trek. Darphon, our porter, was the unsung hero of our trek. His hard work, dedication, and ever-present smile, even during the most challenging parts of the trek, were truly inspiring. Dinesh and Darphon were not just professionals doing their job; they became our friends, sharing stories, laughter, and insights into Nepalese life. Their commitment to our safety and enjoyment was unwavering, making us feel valued and cared for.
60 th birthday at EBC Oct 2023 • Family
It was my 60 birthday celebration on EBC with my 2 sons and my nephew. Paras the manager made that possible for us . The guide Denis and the potter Darphon was extremely helpful and full of joy every step of our way up . I felt so confident and connected from day one . That made my hike a bit easier. Denis even surprised me with a birthday cake at the top. I will definitely recommend this team to guide anyone to reach Ebc or any other trail in Nepal thry really took care of us. Thank you Mr Paras , thank you Denis , and thank you Darpon . Namasteh …
Great base camp trek Nov 2023 • Friends
Had the most amazing trek to base camp and Kalla pata with imperial treking paras had everything planned and sorted and made things very easy.
Our guide shiva was amazing he had so much knowledge and provided fantastic service, our assistant guide suman was also so fantastic and he help us all along the way , shiva and suman were both so much fun and made the trek a great time with lots of laughs, the porters were also great, we couldn't have asked for a better trip
15 Days EBC trek with Imperial Nepal Oct 2023 • Friends
This is my second trek in Nepal with Imperial Nepal and I am glad that I made this decision. Due to the weather problem, we were not able to take the flight to Lukla. However, Mr. Parash (manager) quickly helped to rearrange the transport and made another plan so we can finish the trek as we planned.
Mr. Hari, our guide is the very experienced one and very helpful during the trek. He made the good arrangement about the accommodation and other stuff all along the trek. I really appreciate his effort and help. This was not an easy trip for us but Hari was very encouraging and helped us to achieve our goal. It was really a fantastic and unforgettable trip.

If there was a trek that had supposedly all the best views of nature in the world, it would have to Annapurna Half Circuit. From lush forests and windy rivers, to gaping valleys and towering snow-capped mountains, the trek each day from low to high altitudes left me spoilt for views. I am glad that I signed up for the trek with Imperial Nepal Treks, as they not only met each and every one of their promises in the package, but also went above and beyond to ensure that my friend group would feel safe, full and fulfilled by the end of the trek.
Our guide, Babu Nirmal, was more of a friend than a guide, that we easily became comfortable with given his friendly and easygoing nature. Throughout the trek, he checked in on us each morning to ensure we were feeling alright for the trek, and was always willing to help us in any way possible. He always accommodated our pace, and supported us whenever we were feeling tired, sometimes literally and sometimes by offering to carry our load.
My favourite memories from this trek were the times we had fun whilst we were not trekking. From playing snooker at snooker houses together, to watching and celebrating Manchester United win Manchester City 2-0 in the FA Cup final together at a guesthouse in Chame, these are just snippets of the amazing time we had together. Even after the trek ended, he showed us around Pokhara to ensure we had a fun-filled time there, bringing us to popular restaurants and boating around Phewa Lake.
Our porters, Devindhar and Ram, were strong and friendly. They never once faltered behind, and were always providing the best of service during meals, bringing us our food and drinks and clearing our tables, as well as a complimentary fruit bowl each night after dinner. Without them, we definitely would not have conquered Thorong La Pass!
Ram (another one), the agent I contacted to liaise the details of the trek and the services provided, was always responsive and accommodative as well. Without him, this whole trip, that surpassed all expectations, would not have been made possible.

I see one of my travel companions has already put his review on (Martin W)
I can only agree with all of his comments and that Santosh Wagle was very good at maintaining a pace which allowed everyone (albeit there were only 5 of us) to complete each days trek feeling comfortable, he explained where and when we would find the harder sections of the trek. He also kept the itinerary as flexible as he could and offering us slight alternatives to the written itinerary which we all appreciated.
I also liked the fact that we were a small ear group than some of the other trekking companies, I think this enabled us to get to know Santosh, Sushil and the porters more easily.
Excellent value for money expertly Led.
If you are thinking of going and like small intimate groups then Imperial Nepal is for you.
When we visited Nepal overall we were very lucky with the weather as it was warm In the daytime only getting cold the higher we trekked.
Most of the porters wore trainers and for the majority of the terrain these would be adequate BUT I would still recommend descent footware to give proper support as there are quite a few boulders to clamber over.
Follow your guides pace and advice to get the best experience.
As a personal preference we took tablets to avoid any mountain sickness, taking half a tablet in the morning and half at night. We did come across some people who had suffered with AMS, they looked proper poorly.
Stay vegetarian above Namche Bazzar to avoid bad meat.
The accomodation is simple but dry and always welcoming.
If I was to go again I would like to go in spring when the flowers are out and the Base camp is likely to be busy with climbing expeditions.
BUT October is still a great time to visit.

Life changing experience - August 2019
Writing a review was never a thing for me, as a private person. I prefer to keep my journey to myself and those around me. But my trip to Everest Base camp was truly different, it was life changing. From the journey, to the view, the experience and the people we meet. Never I could sum in so little words. Though I can’t share the entire story in this small space (it just doesn’t make justice to the trip), but I could thank the people who made it happen. My guide Gautam Lamsal and his manager Paras Khanal. Watching over our welfare and insuring a safe journey. They were honest and sincere bunch of people that relentlessly watch over us for more then 10 days. For those who travel with Imperial Nepal, you are in safe hands!

Everest Base Camp Normal 15 Days - March 2019
What an amazing trip! After getting a personal recommendation from a friend who completed the same trek with Imperial Nepal 2 years earlier it made sense to book with the same company. Paras was very helpful from the outset in organizing the trip and happy to help in any way possible. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide and porters were amazing and we always felt safe and well looked after. I can thoroughly recommend this trek with Imperial Nepal.

Everest Basecamp Trek - November 2018
We booked this trek with Paras from Imperial Nepal and were totally satisfied with the service he provided. He was able to tailor make a trek to our requirements. We had some restriction in terms of times but he was easily able to build something around our schedule. He organised the trek, accommodation and even picked us up from the airport!
Once there, our guide was Gautham, again a pure professional. His extensive knowledge, friendly nature and flexibility were greatly appreciated. We are looking at doing Annapurna next year and will definitely use Imperial Nepal again!

15 days Everest Base Camp hike - November 2018
I will give ImperialNepalTreks a true 5 stars rating. All the logistics and hotel stay in Kathmandu and along the EBC trail are well managed. Paras is very accommodative and responsive to our different sub-groups' airport pick up and departure time. Upon request, two free and clean sleeping bags are provided for use during the trek. Appreciate it greatly, especially during those 11 days trek later. Hahhaha...
Overall our team of 8 had a wonderful trekking experience with ImperialNepalTreks. All logistics along the 11 days' trek were well planned and managed. Basically, we just need to follow our guide Sujan and walk to the teahouses along the EBC trek and everything (room, backpack, dinner, 3 hot showers etc) are properly arranged/ booked. All three meals on the trek come with tea, coffee or lemon ginger honey tea and cut fruits platter after dinner are provided FOC!
The magnificent views of the Everest region really touched our minds and souls. Although this is not an easy 15 days tour (11 days on trek) and many a time I wonder why am I spending good $$ to suffer . The excellent service and warm hospitality provided by ImperialNepalTreks' guide and porters made up for those discomforts to walk and sleep in the sub-zero environment. Thanks to the group of experienced people from ImperialNepalTreks that we enjoyed the trip immensely. No regrets to do this EBC trail from 27 Oct to 10 Nov 2018. We will be back for more
Good trusted company that walk the talks. The group and I will definitely recommend ImperialNepalTreks to all our friends.

Amazing life time experience - July 2018
We planned for EBC initially in July 2018. Unfortunately due to poor weather conditions all Lukla flights were cancelled.Paras and Imperial Trek changed our plan to Annapurna Base camp without any hassle and coordinated it extremely well. Paras kept us updated throughout the day, picked us really early from our hotel on time and ensured we made it to Pokhra on the same day. Our guide Ram was a fantastic person who knew everything about the geography, local people, culture and logistics. He ensured that he paid attention to minute detail and our safety, comfort was paramount. The porters Suman and Prakash were really friendly and ever willing to help us. Truly the entire team beat every single expectation we had and we are definitely going to be back. We strongly recommend this team. for all three of us from different continents - this was a life time experience. They truly rock.

KLKK 14 days EBC trek - June 2018
We have joined Imperial Tour back in 2017 , the mountain that we've trek was Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) , which the whole journey was very successful and it brought us great memories. The services that they provided attracted us to go another time where our aim is to conquer Everest Base Camp (EBC) , We requested same tour guide-Mr. Sujan, he was very helpful and patient as we have stopped alot during the trek to take pictures. He will always offer to carry our backpacks when he sees us facing high altitude sickness. Besides that he never fails to make sure that our stomachs are filled with a sufficient amount of food.

Everest Base Camp 'normal' Nov ðŸ˜- November 2017
Completed EBC trek with Imperial Nepal this Nov.
Weather was excellent, great views.
Our guide Gautam picked us up from the airport and took us the short drive to the hotel. Hotel used in KTM by Imperial was in a good location, stored all luggage safely during the trek and was a haven in KTM. We used hotel buddy and Ayantara.
Read the itinerary provided -all is included as shown, this is the main benefit (cost & convenience) of booking with Imperial. Airport transfers, breakfast in KTM, welcome and farewell dinner and 3 meals a day during the trek. We only spent money on additional soft drinks when needed, toilet roll and a couple of meals in KTM(where food is plentiful and very cheap). Got quoted by the western companies but no food and large groups was not ideal for this! The cost paid to imperial was good value!
We toyed with doing this alone, but would be mad. Our guide made sure we were fit and well (carried altitude meds, purified water and carried fresh fruit and shared some snacks when we were flagging)! We were pushed to the front of queues in airports, meals all arranged fast, permits all arranged speedily through checkpoints and the itinerary talked through with us each night so we knew what was in store and how to prepare. Having a been babysat and prepared the whole process and took away any stress or delay.
There are A LOT of sick people on that mountain and people getting it wrong. Altitude affected most in some way, I would not have been able to do any faster than the 15 day trek (having completed other high altitude treks without issue) Imperial made sure our trip was a success and we felt safe. One of the main benefits was the guides connections in securing us a room in an uncertain place with little communication. We had some good rooms (when sharing experiences with those with no guide). The rooms are bad by western standards, but we were given the best of a hard situation with our guide doing his upmost to get us the 'best rooms'. We had a room with a toilet included on multiple occasions which believe me is like the mountain ritz!
EBC is very challenging! For x2 fit healthy people it was no joke, but we wouldn't have changed it.
ADVICE:
*Water is paramount, we took 'life straw bottles' which saved us a fortune and gave us safe water throughout. Water purification for camelbaks in long days. Our guide made sure they were filled for us at each stop.
*service is a bit more relaxed, don't expect uniforms, receipts, coach transfers, etc
*take your own currency, you can change any money at v good rates in an instant in every street and in 1 place 1/2 way on the trek.
*buy when you get to KTM/ Namche. The trekking poles, bags, gloves, shoes coats are excellent and very cheap. (NF socks £3, NF waterproof £15, NF heavy coat £38, trek poles £15). Available on every street (we were helped by our guide the night before).
*get baby wipes to wash throughout the trek, showers are £5 and crap available once or twice in the 2 weeks.
*wifi and charging was available throughout the trek, guide could assist. We walked to the local bakeries who offered free charging and wifi with a purchase.
*take high energy snacks. There's enough food provided, but we paid out in 2 areas for Mars bars and sugary drinks to keep us moving (I would never have brought these as its not something I'd ever eat, but it literally got me to base camp).
*take a small rucksack in addition to your main bags as the porter carried the large bag (don't overpack, I took under layers to keep clean an wear the same stuff over).
*Keep your TIP money separate. Don't get stressed by the tipping -the minimum 10% Tip expectation is quoted and is more than fair, just include in your cost and have it ready at the end. It's wort a lot more to them than it is to you!
*paying imperial felt stressful, I'm protective over my card so would not send the detail (cards always have extra charges there so take enough cash). The bank transfer worked well, although note that you are liable for the bank charges for the transfer at both ends. The best way would be to pay all in the one transfer and forget it. I paid the 20% then cash on meeting Ram at the hotel (with no receipts it's a lot of trust for a westerner, but it's how it works, and it does).

15 days trek to Everest Base Camp - October 2017
Wonderful trip with Imperial Nepal Treks!
As a group of 4 people we were accompanied by a very good guide Mani and 2 nice porters Kumar and Binot. Such a company was very interesting, professional, helpful and cheerful.
Meals and lodges were better then I expected to get in the mountains, we could have hot shower in Lukla and Namche Bazar, also big plus was that warm sleeping bags and down jackets were provided upon request.
Himalayas are just a true love for entire life!
However we started trek in mid September. This time is still considered as a monsoon period, so the sky was cloudy, most of the time closing the view. However the advantage - trek is not crowded. So choose the time wisely.
All the trip details were well arranged by Paras. He can literally manage anything!
Huge thanks to all the INT crew. I hope to come back some day.

Couldn't have been better!-October 2017
Myself and my Dad did the Everest Base Camp trek. Ram was our guide, and he was incredible every step of the way. Vast knowledge of the trek, and tailored it to us to make the trip enjoyable and comfortable. The manager Paras met us at the hotel the first night and gave us a thorough run through of our itinerary, and on the last night we were treated to a wonderful farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant, which was such a lovely way to end the trip. On the trek, Ram was always right by our sides, making sure everything was ok. Unfortunately at the top I got pulmonary edema from the altitude, but Ram looked after me until he was able to get a helicopter. We saw other people who were in similar situations, where their guides barely said two words to them - Ram was with me every 5 minutes, bringing me water or asking if i was ok. Couldn't ask for more from a guide. If you're doing any treks in Nepal, I couldn't recommend this company more!

Amazing sights, amazing people!-October 2017
Just returned from the 16 day trek to Everest Base Camp with INT.
From the start, communications with Paras were good, and he answered all of our questions adequately.
When we arrived in Kathmandu, the taxi was waiting to pick us up at the airport and take us to the lovely Aryatara hotel in Thamel (great hotel and great location).
INT had arranged a tour of some of the major tourist attactions for us for the next day and they were an interesting mix! Never seen a cremation before!!!
On the next day (Tuesday) we were up early and Hari our guide for the trek, met us at the hotel and took us to the airport for the flight to Luckla. Big disappointment here though, as the flights to Luckla were cancelled due to bad weather, but Hari managed to get them rescheduled for the next morning, so it was back to Aryatara hotel and retry again tomorrow.
On the Wednesday, flights were running with just a little delay, and the adventure began. After arriving in Luckla, we had lunch and we were introduced to our porters, Binod and Modan, who were exceptionally good at what they do, and had a cool, calm demeanour about them and they just got on with what they needed to do.
The trek was a wonderful experience, with views that literally took your breath away (especially as we climbed past the 4000m mark and the air got thinner and thinner). I made the mistake of not using my scarf/snood early enough and got a rasping sore throat and the dreaded Khumbu Cough! If you are going to do this trek, try wearing a scarf/snood from as low as Namche Bazaar to prevent this.
All the way on the trek, Hari and the guys kept asking us if we were OK, and making sure we kept hydrated and were eating enough to get us there and back. I cannot thank the 2 porters enough for the amount of hard work they did for us!!! I don't think I could have picked our bags up never mind carried them half way up Everest. Cheers guys!
Due to the delay at the start of the trek, due to flight cancellations, we had changed our return flights to England and gave ourselves a couple of extra days to play with at the end of the trek. Luckily enough we didn't need them, as the flights from Luckla were on schedule, but Paras also arranged a couple of extra nights accommodation for us at Kathmandu, which we were more than happy to pay for, until it was time for us to leave for the airport. It wasn't at the Aryatara, but the hotel was adequate. Paras also arranged for the taxi to pick us up from the hotel and get us to the airport in time for our flight home.
All in all, a wonderful experience that will be remembered for the rest of my life, and once again a big THANK YOU! to the guys, Hari, Binod and Modan for looking after us so well.

We had the most wonderful trek in late May 2017. We give 5 stars to Imperial Nepal. We checked with about 8 trek companies prior to our trip, including 2 companies that our friends' had used. We found Imperial Nepal on the internet and Imperial Nepal with Paras was the most responsive and answered many of our questions prior to the trek. We inquired about food, accomodations, length of the trek, weather, clothes, bathrooms, scenery and helicopters. Paras answered all of our questions. All of our expectations on accomodations, food and facilities were as Paras described, so there were no surprises. Paras had himself worked as a guide for about 5 years prior to working in the sales for Imperial Nepal so he had first had experience on treks.
Imperial Nepal provided first class service. They picked us up from the airport, arranged our hotel in Kathmandu, met us the first day to discuss each day of the trek, went shopping with us for equipment and outfitted us with sleeping bags and jackets. Their tour was very organized. Each day the night before, they would let us know how many miles, how many hours, and the elevation or difficulty to expect, including the type of accomodations we would pull into. There were no surprises and we had a really smooth trek. We had 6 in our group and none of us had any altitude sickness, not even a headache.
The best of Imperial Nepal was their service and friendliness to our family. For our party of six, we had 3 proters and 1 wonderful guide, Sanjan. Throughout the trek, Sanjan gave us tidbits of the history of Nepal, tidbits of the Nepal culture and customs, and tidbits of religion. That made our trek really interesting and personable. We felt like we were being taken on a private trip to their beautiful, treasured homeland, and that made our trip the more special. Our guides were really helpful. At all times, there was a porter for each group of hikers, ie one in the front with the fast group, one in the back for the slow group, and 2 more for the middle. Our guides were always enthusiastic and helpful to us particularly in the early morning hours as we climbed Kala Pathur to 18,300.
Our trek with Imperial Nepal felt like a personal family trip. On the night before our trek we were taken to a restaurant with authentic Nepalese food and dancers and our last night before we left, we were also treated to a going home dinner.
I highly recommend Imperial Nepal and will return to the beautiful country of Nepal for another trek.

Trek to Everest Base Camp - April 2017
I have nothing but positive feedback to give. Paras was very helpful in getting back to me via email with my many questions. The trip was a very competitively priced (the cheapest we could find after communicating with many companies). We received everything as advertised. Accommodation and food exceeded expectations and was very comfortable considering where we were. Our porters were fantastic. The highlight of using Imperial would have to be our guide, Gautam Lamsal. He was caring, professional, respectful and a wonderful person. We made good friends with Gautam and we felt very comfortable entrusting him with getting us to and from base camp safely. He made our journey very pleasurable.

Just came back from an absolutely amazing trekking tour to Everest Base Camp with "Imperial Nepal Treks"!
Right from the beginning I felt myself in very good hands with this agency. Paras gave me all needed information before the tour and made sure that I was as much prepared as possible.
The tour was well organized and the daily walking distances good to manage.
We have been a small group of only two people and our guide Gautam took always very good care of us. He made me feel always safe and looked very well after us. Besides that he was a very nice and funny company to share the walking and as well as the resting time with.
A lot of respect also to our porter Naran who always brought our backpacks on time to our lodges. He did a very good job!
All in all I have to thank these guys a lot! They made one of my dreams come true! I will never forget this experience as one of the best times in my life!
Dhanyabad from the bottom of my heart to Paras, Gautam and Naran!

To say in a few word, very good service overall. Everything as planned from day one, so can´t complain there. These guys are very flexible, and for me that's very good cause I'm not always planning with a lot of time. I did EBC Trek with them.
I arrived to Nepal and they picked me up from the airport, had a nice welcome dinner and the next day flew to Lukla. The guide and the porters were very good, always willing to help and very attentive with bags, food or anything you needed. One very nice detail was that every evening we had fresh fruit for dessert which they carried all the way from Kathmandu! Thanks for that!
The second detail I really liked, and this talk about theri willingness to help you, was that after the trek I had extra time, so the arrange everything for me to go to Pokhara and when I came back to Kathmandu they drove me back to the airport.
Only one minor complain, which will help both the company, I'm talking of you Paras! :), and people who will want to book. Before booking, every email I send them was answer inmediately, really good service. Onced I booked, responses stopped coming. They do read your email, the best example was that they booked me the bus tickets to Pokhara (again, thanks for that), which were waiting for me in the hotel, but I didnt find out till I got there, which I consider very annoying.
Thanks for everything. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant trip with ad Brilliant Company - April 2016
After much research my wife and I found Imperial Nepal to be the best value on the market. The service they offered was fantastic, from the very first day of our EBC trek, to the last. Paras replied to our every query instantly and Sujan was an excellent guide. If I was lucky enough to go back to Nepal, I wouldn't even consider another agency.

I booked a trek through Paras with Imperial Trek Nepal over the internet to trek in the Everest region. They were a great choice as they met us at the airport and organised everything including our accommodation, hire stuff and a day tour around Kathmandu. Hari our guide was fantastic, a lot of fun and looked after us very well in the mountains. On our return to Kathmandu Paras also organised a trip for us to the Royal Chitwan National Park and Pokhara. I'd highly recommend Imperial Trek and you won't go wrong with Hari as your guide.

Awesome Everest Base Camp - December 2015
I travelled to Nepal and trekked Everest base camp a week ago in a group of 3. This was an amazing trek. Our guide, Mani were absolutely incredible, informative and safety conscious. Our porters, Tehs and Gopal were amazing, fun to be with and hard working. They take care of us during the hike and make sure all of us are in good condition and treated us like a family. Tea house and food served are clean along the trek. We enjoyed each other accompany and manage to complete the trek safely. I would do this hike again in an instant and only wish we'd had more time together
Booking with Imperial was easy and efficient. They providing us with all the information needed. The guys on the ground/in the office are also friendly and helpful. Overall we are very satisfied and happy with Imperial!
