Everest View Luxury Lodge Trek 12 Days
Lovely Trek to Everest View Hotel - April 2018
We were very well cared for by our guide K.C. He is very knowledgeable and has been a guide for about 20 years. We are now friends. Our porter carried our stuff to where we stayed before we arrived.
Lodging and all meals (except special items) are included in the trek price. Bottled water is plentiful, but not free. Cash is needed for almost all purchases in Nepal - except for trekking arranger company and occasional expensive restaurants.
We (my grown daughter and I) flew to Lukla from Katmandu (5 hour delay, typical for Lukla flight) and spent our 1st night at Phakding. Then 2 nights at Namche Bazar. Finally a very long (33,000 steps) day back to Lukla for overnight, and flight back to Kathmandu.
The trails go up and down almost continuously, mostly using wide stone steps. We passed many restaurants and places to buy water and sometimes fruit, every 250 meters, on average. We passed thru 2-5 villages between overnight stops.
We crossed 5 ~400 meter-long steel cable (under and handrails) with steel plank suspension bridges. We were passed about every 30 minutes by long (15-50 animals) pack trains of djupkes (cross between cow and yak) or donkeys.
I needed many 1-4 minute rest breaks, for every 10 to 15 meters of altitude gain. Lunch (at a restaurant) was a much longer rest break. My daughter and our guide did not need rest stops as much as I did.
One highlight was meeting and talking with other trekkers on the trail. We especially enjoyed our trio of Spanish ladies and a Russian trio. National borders are meaningless on the trail; we all hike the same trail and exchange stories.
The other highlight was our pre-dawn hike from Namche to upper Namche and on to Everest View Hotel - for excellent views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Nuptse. Many photos!
Lodging was fine at a series of guest houses / hotels with mattresses, plus electricity, hot water, and/or very slow wifi at least 2 hours a day (~6-8 PM), sometimes more hours. We supplied body heat, but some guest houses have a central stove in the restaurant area.
In all, it was a happy time and what I hoped for.

Everest base camp trek - November 2017
I did Everest base camp trek on January 2017 whit imperial nepal. Very professional and dedicated staff. Since day one they were very friwndly and helpful.
I did this trek on middle of winter time what made it way harder, but it worth it. It was me my guide and few other hikers from other expedition companies . It was very hard but my guide was always supporting and professional. The places that we visited and views on our way up were amazing.
I totally recommend this company and all the staff.

A wonderful experience. Imperial met us at Kathmandu airport and transported us to our hotel. Paras met with us at the hotel and gave us a rundown of our itinerary. The next morning we were taken on a guided tour of Kathmandu and later a meal at a traditional restaurant. The next day flights to Lukla and my Guide Dinesh and Porter Lakman were simple awesome and really looked after me. They are great characters and we enjoyed our interaction with them. The accommodation and meals during the trek were above expectations. The Imperial Nepal Trek staff went the extra yards to make my time in Nepal a wonderful experience.Thank You so much and can't wait to visit you again and go on a another trekking adventure
