So, this is a double assurance for your safety and to make sure that you are in the correct and professionals hand. Thus, you need not worry about anything; we are here only at your service.
Health Issues
Regarding health issues, we are well aware that you are likely to get Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Going up high at faster pace is too harmful and can be fatal as well because of less oxygen. Some general symptoms of AMS are
- Difficulty sleeping
- Dizziness or light-headedness
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Loss of appetite
- Nausea or vomiting
- Rapid pulse (heart rate)
- Shortness of breath with exertion
Due to this, we need good time to adapt in the current environment and thus we have planned our itineraries in such a way that we get enough time for acclimatization to ensure your health safety.
A good planning for Around Annapurna Trek is a must to minimize the health risks with problems like AMS. And if you are a patient of heart, lungs or blood disease, it is very important that you consult with your doctors and familiarize yourself with the remedies for the diseases before attempting Round Annapurna Trek.
On your date of arrival, Imperial Nepal Treks will be there to welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. We will pick you and shift you in a tourist standard hotel as per booking for an overnight accommodation.Â
Imperial Nepal Treks organizes a full day city tour around Kathmandu Valley. The aim behind is to let you have the know-how of the Kathmandu city, the city of monuments, temples, and monasteries such as Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, Changu Narayan, Budhhanilkantha and many others. We will provide you leisure time for rest and preparation for final departure that is scheduled for the next day.
On this day, we offer you a welcome dinner at a typical Nepali Restaurant where you will taste different varieties of Nepali food. Your overnight accommodation remains unchanged.
Starting our Round Annapurna Trek from Besishahar, we drive from Kathmandu via the local highway. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach Besishahar which is the district headquarters of Lamjung. After taking a short break here, we head toward Bhulbhule where we will be staying overnight.
The way to Khudi is along the river trail of the big Marsyangdi River. As we move on, we pass by the local villages, green fields, and riverside walk. Once we reach Khudi, we will capture the first glimpse of the mountain range of Manaslu. Your accommodation would be in a lodge/teahouse where meals are provided on full board basis (breakfast, tea/coffee, lunch, and dinner).
From Bhulbhule, we ascend along the Marsyangdi River and cross several suspension bridges on our way. The trial involves easy walking follow through the riverside. The route lets you explore the farming lands as well as waterfalls here. Â The walking becomes quite easier after crossing the hill as we descend for Chamje. We stay at Change for overnight; your accommodation would be in a lodge/teahouse where meals are provided on full board basis (breakfast, tea/coffee, lunch, and dinner).
Ascending along the landslide possible areas, we pass by ruined buildings of old Bhratang, memorial of Japanese mountaineer Akira Ochiai and cross the Swargadwari Bridge. The pathway consists of dense forests and striking curved rock face rising 1500m from the river. You will find no vegetation as we reach the top of the hill where exist big river valleys. Upon arriving at Lowe Pisang, we will observe the dramatic views of Annapurna ranges surrounding us. We can walk towards Upper Pisang in the evening to witness this interesting village in riversides. We spend the night at Lower Pisang; your accommodation would be in a lodge/teahouse where meals are provided on full board basis (breakfast, tea/coffee, lunch, and dinner).
For Manang, we can either take the upper route or the lower one. We recommend the upper route as we pass through the Upper Pisang valley where you can see the Pisang Peak climbing route and Deuralidanda near Ghyaru. Once we arrive at Ghyaru, you will be able to witness the exceptional mountain sceneries of Pisang peak, Annapurna Ranges and many others that fascinate us. The landscapes seem different from here and the weather is also cold and dry. The environment appears to be quite harsh on us from here. After arriving at Mugje, our route ascends towards Baraka, also known as Braga where Braga Monastery exists. It is the largest Buddhist monastery in the whole district of Manang. A little further from here, we arrive at Manang, the religious place with monasteries where we will stay overnight. Your accommodation would be in a lodge/teahouse where meals are provided on full board basis (breakfast, tea/coffee, lunch, and dinner).
This is the important point of our Round Annapurna Trek i.e. acclimatization. Â Our every trek is assured with proper planning considering the altitude sickness we are likely to suffer from. As this is the rest day, we will only go for short walks as we need to familiarize with the environment here as the trekking from here leads to higher altitude quickly. We will walk to Gangapurna Glacier Lake and go uphill for an hour for a tea shop from where you can eye on the Manang village. We can also visit the Bojo Gompa on the hill. You can find the 100 rupees BABA who will bless you for your success on crossing the Thorang La Pass. The views of Annapurna and Tilicho Lake can be witnessed from here. We stay overnight at Manang; your accommodation would be in a lodge/teahouse where meals are provided on full board basis (breakfast, tea/coffee, lunch, and dinner).
From Pokhara, we catch a tourist bus for Kathmandu early morning. Once we arrive at Kathmandu, you will be taken to the hotel you've stayed in before (unless changed). As this is the last day, we enjoy the farewell dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with live music and rejoice the moments.Â
The representatives from Imperial Nepal Treks will drop you to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and assist you in your final departure from Kathmandu. We bid our last goodbyes and you will head towards your destination.

- To prepare for a strenuous trek you should begin training at least two to three months before your departure. As a guideline, an hour of aerobic exercise three to four times per week would be considered a minimum requirement. The best preparation is bushwalking involving relatively steep ascents and descents. If you can manage a couple of valley floor to ridgeline ascents per comfortable and able to enjoy the trek to the fullest. They are physically strong, sharp-witted and have an incredibly positive attitude towards a life that we would consider extremely tough. There is something about a trek in the Himalaya that draws you back time and time again. For keen walkers it is a paradise and even avowed non-walkers find that one foot just seems to follow the other, drawn by the appeal of what lies beyond.

Great trek, stunning views and landscapes! We had a great tour guide (Dinesh) and porter (Roman) and had a very good time with them. Imperial is a professional agency and Ram, the Travel Manager and owner of the agency, was very flexible and did his best to customize our tour and to make it just a great experience. We can recommend the agency. The only criticism about the circuit is that the hike on the very first and on the very last day is lengthy and tedious following roads where jeeps are passing too.

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake - December 2017

I highly recommend Imperial Nepal Trek if you want to do any solo or group trek, or city tours. Bhai Hari, ny trek guide, aka "The Snow Leopard", he never gets tired, always witty and funny even after a long day trek. He made a quote, "without fun, life is gone", he would dance and do crazy things, that made the whole trek more enjoyable, we would laugh until we cry and hurt our belly. He also waits for me because I walk on a slow pace. He is like a friend or brother who encourages me whenever I get tired. He is also a good photographer!
Dhai Gautam Thappa, was my porter, but he is very knowledgeable as well, can be a guide also, he is reliable, he is also patient waiting for me when I walk slowly.
Both of them took good care of me, they always chose best tea houses serving best tasty foods, which made the whole trek easier and hassle-free. They will arrange everything for you, and just serve it to you. Also Bhai Paras, the manager, is always available and answers questions and concerns immediately. From the time I land on Nepal, they give assistance all the time. They made me fall in love with Nepal during my 15days stay here, and made me want to visit Nepal again next time.

Annapurna Circuit-August 2017

We just completed a stress-free and hassle-free honeymoon at the Annapurna Circuit. Paras and our guide Mani were very flexible and willing to meet our needs (adding an extra day, changing flights, helping us book the hotel after the entire itinerary was completed etc). The guest houses they brought us too were also really nice my favorite being the ones in Taal, Chame, and Menang. Highly recommend Imperial Nepal Treks!

“Annapurna Round trek” - April 2017

Special thanks to my guide Kumar and my porter Lama for a fantastic Annapurna Round trek in March 2017. The scenery was truly spectacular every day of the trek, and also very diverse. It started snowing when we got to Chame which meant we had to change the itinerary a little bit, staying an extra night at both Chame and Pisang than we had planned. However, the extra time, and good weather in the days that followed, meant that we were able to cross Thorong La, unlike the many people we saw coming in the opposite direction when we were ascending towards Manang. It really shows the benefit of having an experienced guide, and Kumar was fantastic. He ran the trek very professionally and was very funny; I would highly recommend him to other trekkers.
My experience with Imperial Nepal was also excellent. Ram provided me with a lot of information through email exchanges and a WhatsApp call, as well as when we met at the Blue Horizon hotel (which was very comfortable). The trek was very easy to book through Imperial Nepal, and the other aspects of the trip -- the day tour of Kathmandu (guided by Deepak) and the welcome dinner -- were also very good.

“Amazing Annapurna round and ABC” - January 2017

We have done a hikking, with our guid Santosh, during 22days . It was an amazing experience!
We went to the Tilicho lake also, and we slept to the Thorung la pass base camp. We make a shortcut between Mukthinat and Tatopani. And we walked since Tatopani to the ABC (Annapurna base camp). The both was cold but so magic, I will never forget this experience! in November and beginning December, the temperatures during the journey are fines, and the night are cold. But if you have good closes, it's easy, and there is less tourists and very blue sky. I think, that's the best period in this area.
The agency and the guid manage very well the walking plan, find good lodges, and they are very flexible. Also, they have managed a great surprise for my birthday, and they are very welcoming!
Thanks you very much

Our guide K.C.and the porters were both extremely knowledgeable, kind, and great to travel with - we had SUCH an amazing trip!! Everything was well organized and reasonably priced, and through emails beforehand we were able to customize and arrange our trip perfectly. The trek is beautiful and I highly recommend it!

“The Adventure of a Lifetime” - December 2016

The Himalayas had always been this elusive dream. Something all three of us mates had always wanted to do but had thought the trip would cost far too much. Imperial Nepal completely changed that perception.
A very affordable price for the adventure of a lifetime. We decided to do the Annapurna circuit trek. A 16 day trek across diverse and breathtaking landscape. It was everything we had hoped for. November is the ideal time to trek as the skies are clear and weather is perfect for hiking.
With the leadership of Harri, our exceptional guide
And his two porters, we wanted for nothing on the trip. They went out of their way to make the experience as memorable as possible. Allowing us to take our time and take in the scenery, stopping at only the best tea houses with the best food!!
Accommodation on the trek was basic but more than comfortable after a long days trek. The food was amazing. And you won't get Deli belly of you have an experienced guide (they know what you can/can't eat on the trek).
All in all we spent 20 days in Nepal. 17 days trekking and 3 days in Kathmandu. The perfect combination. Would I go back? In a heartbeat.

“Annapurna Circuit... trip of a lifetime!” - November 2016

A group of three of us South African guys in our mid 20's decided to venture to the far side of the world to trek through the Himalayas in Nepal in search of silence, cultural immersion, raw natural beauty and a face off against the elements. We booked our trek through Imperial Nepal and it was truly everything we hoped it would be and more!
The Annapurna Circuit is as scenically diverse as it is breathtakingly beautiful. Our incredibly hard working and fun loving guide Hari Amgain made the trip an absolute pleasure, organising the best places for us to eat and stay along the way and teaching us all about Nepal's cultural and natural heritage. His english is great and his sense of humour was much to be enjoyed. Even in the most difficult of circumstances - the high altitude parts of the trek and Nepal's difficult transport circumstances, he did his utmost to keep us as comfortable and well looked after as possible. Our two young porters were total rockstars, bearing the weight of our remaining baggage and always polite and sincere. These guys are real athletes... bearing the cold, heat and wind with heavy bags on their shoulders and always keeping up a positive attitude. We all felt like a real team... the "Super Team" as Hari often called us :)
If you are interested in trekking Nepal and discovering its wonders I would highly recommend Imperial Nepal. its a small company run by locals and they really do their utmost best to provide their clients with the best possible experience. It goes a long way to helping the people of Nepal by supporting tour guiding companies such as these and we are so glad we had them on this trip!

“Fantastic Vacation! Can't wait to return!” - November 2016

My group completed the Annapurna circuit (21 days) in November with Imperial Nepal treks. Their communication stood out from the very first email when we initially enquired about our vacation. Our guide and porters did a wonderful job meeting our needs and making sure we were happy, healthy and able to take in the mesmerizing views along our journey. Our guide K.C really paid attention to the details teaching us about the numerous peaks, making sure that the food tasted good and warm at night. K.C was also very flexible, whether it was for weather, being tired/ill or if we wanted to walk further, it was all up to us. His knowledge of circuit was very valuable. Our vacation was truly memorable from the welcoming dinner to the farewell. We can't wait to return for another great trip! Highly recommended!

We have recently completed the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna base camp treks as a group of 7 and were impressed with both the trek organizers and our guide K.C who all went out of their way to ensure we had the experience we had hoped for. The company was very flexible and always did their best to accommodate our requests.
Overall, a well organised trek and a great experience for everyone involved.

Completed the 19-day trek on Annapurna Circuit Trek two weeks' ago with guide and porter from Imperial Nepal. Really appreciated your meticulous planning and communication before I arrived in Nepal, and accommodated my dietary requirements throughout. The guide and porter observed safety and stayed close to me throughout the trek. They were patient and supportive as my muscles warmed up in the initial days of the trek. When we crossed Thorung La Pass at 5,400m which was no mean feat, they stayed very close on the ascent, were very encouraging and took precautions like leaving early so that we had ample time to cross the pass in calm weather conditions. Recommend Imperial Nepal for solo traveller like myself or group travellers. Kudos to the team and thanks for leaving me with wonderful memories!

Amazing Trek Awesome Service November 2015

My partner and I have just recently moved to Nepal and decided a good first introduction to the country might be hiking the Annapurna Circuit.
We booked through Imperial Nepal Treks online from New Zealand and have not regretted that decision once.
The package was hard to fault. Great value for money (esp. in the wake of the earthquake and in the middle of a fuel crisis!), great service from all involved and a great itinerary.
Our guide on the trek Dinesh and our porter, Sudip were great! Helpful, accommodating, relaxed and willing to work around any issue that came up.
It was just myself, my partner Andrew and Dinesh and Sudip and so we felt like close friends by the end of our 17 days together. Jokes and long conversations about our respective lives were really lovely additions to the astoundingly beautiful scenery and hospitality of the locals.
Added on to the trek is a sightseeing day in KTM - this is also a great day where we were guided to many fascinating places we would never have discovered on our own. It was a lovely introduction we didn't expect. With welcome and farewell dinners in KTM and all accommodation and meals organised on the trek we were simply at leisure.
Thanks Imperial Treks Nepal - a great experience.

Great Annapuarna Experience - November 2015

The two of us decided to get Guide and Porter and Imperial Treks seemed legit. Right from the get go they kept us informed about payment, itinerary, what to expect etc... We are both experienced in the outdoors and had never thought about being guided or having our things carried but our Guide Denish and Porter Sudip soon put our worries to rest! They were both great guys and we had a lot of fun, learned a lot of interesting things about the areas we were travelling through and got the down low on cool places to see and must do's. It turned out to be a really unique and fun 21 day circuit of the Annapurna Ranges. I would recommend Imperial Treks to anyone but more importantly Denish and Sudip for their expertise, patience, un-faltering senses of humour and all around positive outlook on their country and beautiful backcountry. Thanks Boys! Namaste.

Trekking The Annapurna Circuit - August 21

Did this a year ago in June 2014 but kept forgetting to leave a review!
Initial plans of trekking without a guide changed when the staff of Blue Horizon Hotel introduced this company to us. We decided to go for it and boy, are we glad we did! I would imagine the trek being more tedious and not as smooth without our awesome and friendly guide, Bhagawat Mani Lamichhane. An expert on the trail, you can definitely count on him to show you around. He got us nice teahouses to stay at, made sure we stayed safe, and encouraged me to go on when I really felt like giving up on the first few days. Plus he's a pretty good photographer ;) Also, we caught some pretty nice views of the Annapurnas too despite it being summer.
If you haven't done the trek yet, you really should. The unspoiled nature, amazing scenery, inspiration all around, the experience itself is worth the go.

Mind BLowing Annapurna Circuit - August 14

I did the Annapurna circuit... was an amazing experience, even in the middle of winter. It was most likely harder than most people would experience but i was motivated enough to get amongst it. We decided to do it with a guide, using Bhagawat Mani Lamichane to get us safely to the other side even when conditions became particularly tough. You can look him up on facebook... Great banter. Gotta love that trek

Annapurna Circuit with Imperials is a must do trek.

Hari is a very considerate guide who always put you in his first priority. He got a sense of nepali humor and would share his experience, language with you. He knew all sort of things including what to eat, where to stay, how long to reach and how to get there by shortcut...all you need to know.
My first trekking experience was therefore perfect I would say.
