Lang Tang Trekking - August 17

Langtang Trek - April 17, 2015

We had a really great experience booking through Imperial. It was easy and stress free. Ask for Hari as a guide, he was friendly and funny and made our experience fun. Every night after dinner he was the only guide who provided his trekkers with a delicious fruit platter. He carries the fruit up the mountain just for us. Occasionally Hari would teach us a few Nepali words. We enjoyed our trek from start to finish :)

Didn't book anything before we got to Nepal but we ended up staying at the Blue Horizon Hotel in Kathmandu in the Thamel district. The staff were very friendly and offered to help organise a trek to the Langtang Valley. They organised a guide and a porter who were both very good and very friendly (good sense of humour too!). The whole trek was super organised and was pretty flexible in terms of extra day trips and different routes. When we visit Nepal in the future we will definitely book through imperial tours again. *Note: If going trekking, bring a pack of cards and learns some cool Nepalese card games and card tricks.

Came to Nepal to go trekking Lang Tang with my family but hadn't organised any companies to go through before we got there. We heard about this company through the staff at Hotel Blue Horizon in Thamel - where we stayed in Kathmandu.
They didn't leave anything out and involved us in the whole process of organising our trek.
While on the trek, everything was taken care of and we knew we were in the good hands of the guide and porter that had come with us. The guide was very knowledgable about the area we were walking in, and was happy to answer any questions about the trek or other treks, and Nepal in general. Very friendly and approachable. I would love to come back.
Great experience, and I would recommend Imperial Nepal to anyone looking at trekking in Nepal!

Very Good Experience - August 2014

Good info. But I would like a little bit more info about safety and aims, eventhough it is a "soft trek". Open information safety.
Guide:
Helpful, understanding and polite. A tip to next trek: may be the guide and the trekker should agree upon their expectations of each other.
The trekking:
Much up and down but, still very nice. This is not a route for very old people (much up). A little warm some part at this time of the year.
Tamang was very nice and local. Almost no other tourists and I liked that a lot! Langtang gave the trek even more variety and we got to see some nice peaks and mountains.
Cost:
Oh, but, for one person, a little expensive. But I paid off because its not so commercial.
